For manufacturers & distributors
Denser pallets. Fewer pallets to move.
For full or mixed pallets leaving a plant or distribution centre, the plan must fit your cases, site stock and load. StoaPack returns exact placements to review, not just a suggested stack.
The floor-level problem
A pallet can look full and still be a poor plan.
Tall, narrow stacks waste footprint; cases on their sides may not suit products that must stay upright. A load can run out of space before weight, or reach its weight allowance with room left. Fixed layer rules miss differences in case size, product mix and site stock.
Planners need layers that use the pallet while respecting the product and order—not merely something that fits.
A plan you can inspect
Build from actual cases, stock and site choices.
Pallet mode places cases flat in full product layers, heavier layers at the bottom and centred leftovers on top. Set keep upright for products such as margarine. Plan full or mixed pallets against stock supplied for each plant or distribution centre.
Responses include exact placements and layer information. Provide dimensions, quantities, weights, pallet size and site load allowances. A synchronous request accepts up to 1000 cases; split larger orders across requests.
Checked example case sizes
One upright margarine order, before and after.
For 80 cases on a 120 × 100 cm pallet with a 150 cm load-height and 1,000 kg load-weight allowance, Stoa's 19 October check reported a 144 cm parcel stack across 45% of the pallet. Pallet mode used five full layers and a centred top layer of five for a 72 cm load. Zero cases tipped, compared with 16 in that reported baseline.
144 cm → 72 cm, 0 cases tipped. Offline replay of example case sizes; not a new production benchmark. The parcel baseline allows tipping; pallet mode keeps each case upright.

A decision manufacturers can test
Case format changes the pallet calculation.
For example case sizes, this checked oil comparison shows the effect of bottle count per case. Results are not a forecast for other orders.
| Example case format | Bottles per pallet | Relative result |
|---|---|---|
| 12 × 1 L | 1,020 | +4.6% bottles; about 4% fewer pallets |
| 15 × 1 L | 975 |
Use the comparison to assess a case-format choice against how cases actually arrange on a pallet.
Rules and constraints
Put operating instructions into the request.
Plain-English instructions can express supported rules: “Never put soap on the same pallet as food.” In the checked example, soap stayed on its own pallet. Instructions work in English and Spanish, but not every rule can be enforced; review results and exceptions before release.
StoaPack checks pallet space and the requested load-weight allowance. In example case sizes, a checked oil load reached 986 kg against 1,000 kg. This result is specific to that request, not a general stack-weight limit.
For your existing workflow

A clear boundary
Planning support, not a transport simulator.
Planning runs synchronously, up to 1000 cases per request; split larger orders into several requests. Bounded search can miss a plan using fewer pallets; review results before use.
This is not truck or container loading and does not model transit stability. Batch jobs, stacking-weight limits and savings reports are not available. One successful pallet call counts as one request. See current plans and prices.
Evaluate representative orders against site stock and handling rules, with an operator review.
